Jersey dresses were a commonality in the early 2000’s, with most celebs being papped in one or regular people wishing they had one in their wardrobe.
With a heavy influence from hip-hop culture, the jersey dress trend spread like wildfire during that era, one that I was too young to participate in. :(
More recently, the jersey dress trend has resurfaced due to Tom Ford’s sequin style jersey dress and similar dupes spotted on sites such as Missguided.
The resurgence of jersey dresses is reaaal and the folks of my generation (or maybe just me) may choose to pursue it from here on because we didn’t get to!
Mariah Carey had the jersey dress game on lock.
