AMBUSH, founded by Verbal and Yoon Ahn, a Tokyo based jewellery line announced its collaboration with Nike by teasing us with a glimpse of what’s to come. What was shown was enough to whet our appetite, particularly the stand-out faux fur jacket. AMBUSH crafted a perfectly clever reversible faux-fur jacket with an enlarged Swoosh that’s noticeable ’when you look back at it’. Other staple pieces in the collection include silver and gold metallic jackets, tracksuits with reflective details and a mid-top version of the Airmax 180’s.
Yoon Ahn showcased her masterpiece to the world with several Instagram posts leading up to the launch in which she noted, “A year and a half in the making…” revealing the discipline, practice and time it can take to be the best similar to athletes perfecting their craft.
