Gurls Talk 👯, founded by Activist and Model Adwoa Aboah organised an IRL link up with her online community for young women to discuss issues, life experiences and share advice on topics such as finances.
📍 Hosted in Nike Lab 1984 LDN, the digital platform organised a number of events from talks on personal branding to fitness classes. Gurls Talk’s collaboration with Nike is so important because at a time where women’s sport is being celebrated and their stories are being heard, it brings together a community of young girls to help them recognise that they too can reach their potential and achieve their goals in life.
To further celebrate this community, Nike teamed up with Gurls Talk to create a limited edition Football Jersey 🎽. The black shirt features Adwoa’s initials ‘AA’ emblazoned on the chest beneath both the Nike and Gurls Talk logo. On the back, her lucky number ‘3’ can be boldly seen.
What do we get when the Nike + Gurls Talk worlds collide? Fire. 🔥
